A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CONSULTANT:
This role operates during the day shift, Monday through Friday.
As the first point of contact, you will ensure our customers have a seamless experience when scheduling appointments, checking in, and receiving the services they require. You will assist customers both via phone and in person, addressing their inquiries and coordinating appointments based on technician and parts availability. Additionally, you will manage parts orders and collaborate with technicians to provide accurate job estimates.
Upon customer arrival, you will facilitate check-ins and process payments upon completion of services. Whenever possible, you will recommend additional services to enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to business growth. As a team player, you will also take on various tasks to ensure a smooth workflow for daily appointments. Your commitment to excellent service and teamwork will be key to your success in this role.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CONSULTANT:
- Proficient in computer systems
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience in a service writing or similar role
While experience is beneficial, this is an entry-level position where we will provide the necessary training for you to excel. We are looking for someone who is personable and can effectively communicate repair information to customers based on their automotive knowledge.
