Job Title: Physician - HIV Primary Care Specialist

AIDS Healthcare Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team as an HIV Primary Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients living with HIV/AIDS, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary care to patients living with HIV/AIDS, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of related health issues.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct regular health assessments, screenings, and testing to monitor patient health and detect any potential health issues.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, including antiretroviral therapy (ART) and other treatments as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in HIV/AIDS care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Medical Board license MD/DO/RNP (State specific) in Internal/Family Medicine/Adult Gerontology/Infectious Disease.
  • Valid DEA & Furnishing license.
  • Comfortable with seeing up to 15-18 patients per day.
  • Prior experience or interest in treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS clients in an outpatient Primary Care setting.
  • Must obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire.
  • Current CPR/BLS (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) is required.
