Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with hospital personnel and ancillary departments to address patient care issues and facilitate resolutions.
  • Function effectively in the absence of support services during shifts, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Manage ventilator settings, perform lab draws including arterial blood gases, and respond to emergency situations such as Code Blue activations.
Qualifications:
  • Current RN Licensure in the State of Texas.
  • Flexibility to be cross-trained in various unit areas.
  • Strong commitment to adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Educational background including an Associate Degree, Baccalaureate Degree, or Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
  • Required certifications: BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC/TCAR, CPI.
  • Familiarity with fundamental nursing performance standards is essential.
  • Successful completion of the Medication Assessment with a minimum score of 90% is required.
