Insurance Sales Representative

The Sales Specialist role at Joshua Peck & Associates is a dynamic opportunity to market, prospect, and sell American Family Insurance products in all product lines. This position requires maintaining effective customer relationships, understanding customers' needs, and matching them with appropriate product and service offerings. The successful candidate will promote brand awareness and agency success through customer relationship building and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the local market dynamics to identify business development opportunities for all product lines.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers and help the Agency grow.
- Proactively cross-sell and coordinate with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers.
- Prepare quotations and applications and deliver effective presentations to close sales.
Requirements
- An active insurance license is required.
- The ability to work independently to plan, set priorities, and organize work.
- Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.).
- Experience using a wide range of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers.
