As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Urology department, you'll have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality care.

About the Role

This LPN role is responsible for providing routine back office functions, including patient flow maintenance, exam room preparation, and assisting physicians and nurses as needed. You'll also be responsible for retrieving and routing provider/nurse messages, appointment scheduling, and prescription refills as directed by the physician and/or provider.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine back office functions, including patient flow maintenance and exam room preparation
  • Assist physicians and nurses as needed
  • Retrieve and route provider/nurse messages, appointment scheduling, and prescription refills as directed
  • Comply with established Georgia Nurse Practice Act and law
  • Maintain general mandatories established by Gordon Hospital and any clinic-specific mandatories
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates Degree or equivalent specific to Licensed Practice Nurse
  • Current LPN License issued by The State of Georgia
  • BLS/CPR certification
