At AdventHealth, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive work environment for our team members. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our General Surgery department, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
**Your Responsibilities**
* Assist physicians and nurses with patient care, including taking medical histories, preparing exam rooms, and performing routine back office functions.
* Coordinate patient flow, manage exam room preparation and turnover, and retrieve and route messages and calls as needed.
* Maintain compliance with established standards and protocols, including sterilization techniques, sample medication oversight, and OSHA requirements.
* Collaborate with medical assistants and other back office staff to ensure seamless daily operations.

**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Associates Degree or equivalent specific to Licensed Practice Nurse
