Cardiac Nurse Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Nurse Specialist to join our team at Sovah Health - Danville. As a Cardiac Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiac program.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 7a-3p, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced nurses and physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs for patients and staff

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Registered Nurse license from the Virginia Board of Nursing or a compact State, and at least one year of critical care experience. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is also required.
