We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Nurse Specialist to join our team at Sovah Health - Danville. As a Cardiac Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiac program.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 7a-3p, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will be working in our state-of-the-art Cath Lab, performing coronary angiograms, PCI, peripheral procedures, pacemakers, and ICDs.
What We Offer- $20,000 sign-on bonus eligibility for full-time, bedside RNs
- $4 Shift differential (2nd shift & evenings), $1 shift differential (weekends)

- Registered Nurse from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact State required
- One (1) year Critical Care experience required. Diagnostic and interventional experience preferred.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including weekends and holidays to ensure continuity of care and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville on all units.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association required or within 90 days of hire.
