Cardiac Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Nurse Specialist to join our team at Sovah Health - Danville. As a critical care RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and utilize your specialized skills to provide exceptional care.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art Cath Lab, working closely with our experienced team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Requirements- Registered Nurse from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact State required
- One (1) year Critical Care experience required. Diagnostic and interventional experience preferred.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including weekends and holidays to ensure continuity of care and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville on all units.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association required or within 90 days of hire.
