About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Manager to join our team at NorthPoint Development LLC. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our industrial commercial real estate customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide timely and courteous responses to tenant requests and issues, ensuring satisfactory resolution and generating work orders as needed.
  • Emergency Coverage: Ensure 24-hour emergency coverage for the property at all times, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and communication with tenants.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of commercial properties and tenant spaces to ensure compliance with leases and proper upkeep, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date property and lease files, records, and correspondence, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and maintain building and property operating budgets, track tenant lease expirations, and collaborate with the Asset Management team to plan for move-outs and renewals.
  • Software Proficiency: Develop expertise in Yardi Property Management software, Salesforce, and other relevant systems, utilizing them to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Lease Concierge team to provide new tenants with an onboarding resource guide, participate in new building onboarding punch walks, and collaborate with the Development Management team to ensure a smooth transition of buildings post-construction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor key dates and reporting within Yardi and Salesforce, assist in the production of monthly and annual reports, and aid in the preparation of transaction-related documents.
  • Vendor Management: Approve and obtain estimates/bids for repairs, generate and track service orders, and ensure accurate compliance with contracts of all property-related invoices.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of direct commercial and industrial property management experience.
  • Skills: Strong working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, G-Suite, and Excel, familiarity with maintenance, accounting, and tracking software, and ability to effectively communicate with peers, managers, and clients.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Travel: This position requires at least 50% travel.
