Key Responsibilities:
The role encompasses a variety of essential duties, including but not limited to:

Customer Engagement:
Deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly and attentive manner.
Welcome customers upon entry and express gratitude as they leave.
Assist customers with inquiries and provide recommendations.

Accurately process transactions using the cash register, handling various payment methods.

Operate multiple service machines, including fuel consoles and lottery systems.
Arrive punctually and adhere to company appearance standards.

Facility Maintenance:
Ensure the store's cleanliness and equipment are maintained according to company standards through various housekeeping tasks:

Perform cleaning duties to uphold store hygiene inside and out; maintain all equipment in working order.

Inspect facilities for safety and cleanliness, reporting any issues to management.

Inventory Management:
Assist in ordering and receiving merchandise, ensuring proper stock levels.
Maintain organized displays and signage throughout the store.

Sales Oversight:
Monitor merchandise and cash flow to minimize losses.
Support inventory control and assist with audits.

Financial Accountability:
Maintain accurate records of cash and sales, addressing discrepancies promptly.
Follow company protocols for handling product losses.

Security Measures:


Report any incidents, including injuries or theft, to management.

Notify management of any unsafe or unethical behavior.

Administrative Duties:
Keep accurate records of shift activities and timekeeping.
Participate in inventory assessments as needed.
Attend mandatory meetings and maintain regular attendance.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Prior experience in retail is advantageous.

Ability to operate various equipment, including cash registers and beverage dispensers.

Must be able to work scheduled shifts punctually.
Effective communication skills are essential.
Basic arithmetic skills are preferred.
Ability to perform physical tasks as outlined in the job description.

Physical Demands:


The physical requirements of this position include:

Ability to work in varying temperature conditions, including coolers and outdoor settings.
Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds overhead and 50 pounds waist-high.
Proficient hand-eye coordination for various tasks.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Occasional climbing may be required.

Work Environment:


This position primarily involves indoor work, with some outdoor responsibilities.

Exposure to cold temperatures in storage areas.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
