**Job Summary**

Piedmont Urgent Care by Wellstreet is seeking a skilled Clinical Services Associate to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic urgent care environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare patient(s) for examination and assist with treatment
  2. Perform triage and obtain vital signs
  3. Obtain and timely document patient history in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  4. Collect and maintain all patient and business documents while always maintaining confidentiality
  5. Administer medications and non-intravenous injections (intramuscular, subcutaneous, and/or intradermal)
  6. Start an IV, place a catheter, and perform splinting when needed/directed
  7. Perform various other clinical, aseptic, and/or basic laboratory procedures

Education Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. Successful completion of a MA, LPN, EMT, RN, or X-Ray Technology program from an accredited institution
  2. One year of relevant healthcare experience; preferably urgent care or emergency department
  3. Willing to train new, stellar graduates
  4. Must be proficient in venipuncture and injections
  5. Knowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy, and physiology

Physical Requirements:

  1. Required to work 12 hours shifts, weekends, and holidays
  2. Required to sit, walk, reach with hands and arms throughout workday
  3. Finger dexterity and hand coordination required
  4. Occasionally required to lift moderate weight (20-40 pounds)
  5. Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust or focus

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
