Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to provide leadership support and assistance with resident care and services. As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of our residents, administering medications, and maintaining clinical quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Care: Identify ongoing needs and services of residents through the assessment process, ensure proper follow-through and documentation for changes in clinical care needs, and assist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications according to established protocols and procedures, and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with resident support services, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Leadership Support: Provide leadership support and guidance to staff members, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must be certified as a Medication Aide and have a minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals. Leadership capabilities, knowledge of Assisted Living industry and Dementia care, and ability to work flexible hours are highly desirable.
