Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an Administrative Operations Analyst. This role is a temporary contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct administrative and management studies related to departmental operations.
  • Identify analytical methods and information-gathering techniques to collect necessary data for evaluation.
  • Evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on equipment, cost analysis, and policy modifications.
  • Engage with management to discuss findings and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Support the development and execution of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Oversee various special projects aligned with departmental functions.
  • Assist in budget preparation, analysis, and monitoring of expenditures.
  • Implement and manage special administrative programs relevant to departmental functions.
  • Coordinate with other departments on project-related activities.
  • Provide technical assistance on administrative and analytical issues.
  • Utilize computer applications to facilitate analytical studies.
  • Prepare technical documentation, correspondence, and reports.
  • Supervise support staff on a project or daily basis.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, accounting, economics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of verifiable professional experience in administrative, management, systems, operations, or budgetary analysis.
  • Additional Requirements: Candidates must pass a comprehensive background investigation, which may include fingerprinting and a polygraph evaluation. Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime may be required.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with principles and practices of administrative and organizational analysis, public administration, and business computer applications related to statistical analysis and data management.
  • Skills: Proficiency in analyzing complex administrative and operational challenges, evaluating options, and making informed decisions. Ability to collect, assess, and interpret diverse information and data. Competence in preparing and managing budgets, as well as drafting clear and concise reports.
