Tactical Military Equipment Painter

Vision Point Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Military Equipment Coatings Specialist to join our team at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and coating military equipment, as well as a strong understanding of corrosion prevention and control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Painting and coating military equipment to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Assessing equipment prior to recoating and determining the best course of action to complete the job.
- Preparing surfaces for painting, including washing and sanding to remove dirt, grease, and other contaminants.
- Applying specialized coatings and techniques to ensure the best possible results.
- Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Specialized knowledge of painting and coating techniques and tools.
- Physical ability to remain standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience with surface preparation and painting equipment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing repair and refinishing processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal training in industrial painting.
- Experience with primers, flat paints, and autobody repair.
