About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at CIBC. As a key member of our Syndication Services team, you will be responsible for managing the servicing of commercial loans and ensuring that all transactions and balancing issues are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between the Bank, customers, and participant banks for all transactions and balancing issues
  • Manage performance by providing fair and accurate formal feedback
  • Reconcile PVTB system against bank notices
  • Review appropriate reports to solidify data integrity
  • Other tasks/projects as required within the department
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience performing loan services in a financial institution
  • Detailed and process-oriented with a focus on integrity and accuracy of information
  • Strong prioritization and analytical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Understanding of financial services operations, infrastructure, and payment processing
  • MS Office skills
  • ACBS and Metavante experience preferred
  • Understanding of accounting and bank sub-systems capabilities
  • Ability to operate effectively as a lead and as an individual contributor
