Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional communication services to students in Amarillo, TX. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to enhance students' communication skills and support their academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' specific needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student progress and success
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and development
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights to inform educational decisions
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid Texas state SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
