Job Title: School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and a passion for helping children succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' needs
  • Provide speech therapy services to students individually or in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop strategies to support students' speech and language development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for students' educational needs
  • Maintain accurate and complete records on student evaluations and services provided
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and needs

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
  • Texas state license in Speech Language Pathology
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a School Speech Language Pathologist
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws governing special education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
