Speech Language Pathologist

BSA Hospital is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Amarillo, TX. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Conducting examinations, evaluations, and assessments to diagnose and treat speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills
- Providing speech therapy interventions to patients, including individual and group sessions
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Documenting patient progress and outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology
- A Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- A current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred qualifications include:
- 1-2 years of acute care experience
- MBS experience
- FEES procedure experience
- Laryngectomy experience
