Flexjet is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Station Chief Inspector. This critical position will oversee the Quality Control (QC) Department, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and direct work in the QC Department, ensuring final inspections are properly performed on all work completed before release for Return to Service (RTS).
- Accurately and timely execute all required inspection records, reports, and forms.
- Ensure all tools and test equipment are inspected and maintained in a serviceable condition, and that there are no defective or non-conformed parts installed in any component or assembly released to service.
- Perform quality checks on incoming material to determine airworthiness prior to installation.
- Maintain compliance with procedures for preliminary inspections, hidden damage inspections, inspection continuity, and final inspections of all items processed by the facility.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience and/or training in aviation with exposure to the Company Specific fleet types and Part 121 and/or Part 135 Operations.
- 3-5 years in a supervisory and/or quality environment.
- Must have an FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex, and fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, independent, and exceptional relationship management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture.
- Excellent organizational skills, and both written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and Windows.
