We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ICU team at Nashville Veterinary Specialists. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ICU team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our veterinarians and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including triage, disease processes, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with our veterinarians and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years working as a veterinary technician, preferably in emergency medicine.
  • LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT license required.
  • Advanced skill set includes (preferred, not required): central line placement, abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis, feeding tube placement, urinary catheter placement.
  • Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members.
