Job Title: Veterinary Technician - Emergency Medicine

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Medicine team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team in delivering high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures, including anesthesia, surgery, and patient care.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform diagnostic tests.
  • Provide excellent patient care, including handling, restraint, and transportation of animals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a veterinary technician, preferably in emergency medicine.
  • LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT license required.
  • Advanced skill set includes central line placement, abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis, feeding tube placement, and urinary catheter placement.
  • Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
