Key Responsibilities- Surveillance and Supervision: Monitor and supervise swimmers and guests during park hours, special events, and training sessions to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations in assigned zones, providing first aid and coordinating with other team members as needed.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate emergency situations to other team members and guests, and work collaboratively with aquatics management to address any safety concerns.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a polite and expedient manner.
- Maintenance and Housekeeping: Perform daily routine chores and maintenance of the waterpark to ensure a neat and orderly appearance.
- Age and Certification: Must be at least 16 years old and able to achieve Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training.
- Physical Abilities: Swim 50 yards in 4 ft. of water and retrieve a 10 lb brick from the bottom of the pool, sit or stand for extended periods, and climb multiple flights of stairs.
- Education and Experience: No prior experience required, but prior lifeguard training and/or experience is desirable.
