Job Title: Project Administrator/AccountantAbout the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Project Administrator/Accountant to join our team in Sacramento, CA. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing project contracts, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with financial terms and conditions.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. You will also have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Review and manage project contracts, ensuring all financial terms and conditions are adhered to.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor and track project progress, including costs, and investigate any variances.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist Project Managers with the development of project plans, schedules, and workflows.
  • Document Management: Maintain organized project files and ensure that all documentation is up to date.
  • Vendor Invoicing: Accurately process vendor and subcontractor invoices, as well as employee expense reports, within established timelines.
  • Billing Processes: Ensure timely and accurate billing processes.
  • Payment Collection: Assist the Controller with payment collection efforts.
  • Cost Tracking: Track and maintain records of project costs and related expenses.
  • Communication: Communicate with vendors and subcontractors regarding billing requirements and payment status.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous relevant accounting or project finance experience.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software, excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Qualities: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
Compensation:

This position offers an annual salary between $95,000-$105,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401K plan, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, vacation and sick days, and additional optional benefits.
