Cardiac Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team at Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital. As a key member of our cardiac care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with patients to obtain information for patient records and explain procedures
  • Utilize standard procedures for patient identification and record collection
  • Relate results to patients in person according to physician instructions
  • Enter data into computer system as per protocol
  • Perform vital signs and EKGs
  • Assist in clinic as assigned or needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing or Board Eligible Graduate Nurse
  • Currently licensed in the state of Texas
  • BSN preferred
  • BCLS and ACLS required
  • 2-5 years' experience in cardiac care setting
