Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, managing deliveries, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster customer relationships through a team-based selling model, ensuring strong partnerships and driving sales growth.
  • Manage deliveries to the routing schedule, troubleshoot any issues, and communicate with the transportation department as needed.
  • Collect accounts receivable, work with the credit department, and ensure timely payment from customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities, leverage resources, and develop new accounts to drive sales growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, and share this information with customers to provide value-added services.
  • Drive a motor vehicle to visit customers and prospects, ensuring product delivery and interacting with customers in various weather conditions.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build internal and external relationships.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability, organization, and negotiation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management tools.
  • Valid driver's license and a good motor vehicle record.
Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, often in variable weather conditions. You must be able to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, driving, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
