About the Opportunity

WSP is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our Northern California Buildings Team, you will be responsible for leading design efforts and managing projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design efforts and manage projects, including budget development, project scope development, and ensuring delivery goals are met.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and support business development activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external client team members to deliver projects.
  • Provide project status updates and reports to project directors, clients, management, and stakeholders.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers to execute project work on multiple concurrent projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • 7-10 years of relevant post-education experience as a mechanical engineer.
  • Engineer PE license required.
  • Experience with mechanical infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
  • Well-defined knowledge of relevant engineering and mechanical construction standards, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • LEED Certification.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry with HCAi experience.
  • Experience managing small to mid-size projects.
