About the Role

Xero is a leading cloud-based accounting software company that empowers small businesses and their advisors to succeed. We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our global social engagement efforts and drive business growth through content marketing and social media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global content strategy that aligns with Xero's business objectives and resonates with our target audience.
  • Lead a team of content marketers and social media specialists to create engaging content that drives customer acquisition, retention, and advocacy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of content marketing campaigns and social media initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of content marketing and social media efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimize strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content marketing and social media to ensure Xero remains a leader in the industry.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in content marketing and social media leadership, with a track record of driving business growth and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing strategies, including content creation, distribution, and measurement.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of content marketers and social media specialists.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
