Key Responsibilities

Your Role Will Involve:
- Engaging with clients during designated walk-in hours.
- Assessing clients' legal documents for eligibility in Refugee Services programs.
- Completing initial applications in Salesforce and directing clients to suitable programs.
- Uploading eligibility documentation into the application system.
- Offering community resources to clients not qualifying for Refugee Services.
- Conducting assessments to identify client barriers and performing comprehensive intake.
- Empowering clients towards self-sufficiency by fostering collaboration with program staff.
- Ensuring all documentation meets funder requirements and agency standards.
- Providing interpretation support for program staff as needed.
- Managing service delivery tasks and administrative responsibilities effectively.
- Collaborating with Refugee Services team members to achieve collective goals and coordinate client services.
- Transporting clients to appointments as required by the program.
Are You the Ideal Candidate for This Role?
- A Bachelor's degree in social work or a related discipline, along with one year of experience in social services, or a combination of education and experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
- Reliable transportation, a valid Texas driver's license, and proof of auto liability insurance are essential.
- Proficiency in Excel is preferred.
What We Offer:
- A full-time position with a competitive starting hourly rate of $20, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
