Job Title: RN - Acute Care

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team at South Peninsula Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the Acute Care unit, utilizing the nursing process to plan and deliver care.
  • Supervise and coordinate the care provided by other care team providers, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and individualized care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that patients receive seamless care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Alaska.
  • Experience in Acute Care nursing, preferably in a critical access hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift patients and equipment, as needed.
