Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU

South Peninsula Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing the nursing process to plan and implement individualized care plans. The RN will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in the ICU specialty.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
