Position Overview

ITW is looking for an Accounting Manager to enhance our team of financial experts. In this role, your duties will encompass much more than just overseeing financial records. You will be a key player in driving efficiency, collaborating closely with the Division Controller to optimize processes, contribute to annual planning, and analyze critical business metrics that guide our strategic decisions.

Your Responsibilities and Impact:
Financial Management, Analysis, and Reporting:
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures.
- Guarantee precise and timely documentation, analysis, and reporting of financial transactions in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Generate accurate management reports and effectively communicate the findings.
- Evaluate and interpret financial performance, identify trends, and provide valuable insights to management for informed decision-making.
- Utilize available tools and technologies to analyze data, supporting process enhancements and operational choices.
- Guide team members in understanding the financial implications of their decisions, identifying key business drivers, and providing training to boost overall financial literacy.
- Lead and nurture the accounting team through guidance, training, and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the Division Controller in planning, delegating, and supervising departmental tasks.
- Employ 80/20 thinking to simplify processes and reduce complexity.
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives within and beyond the Division.
- Curiosity: Maintain a curious mindset and a strong desire for continuous learning, especially regarding business processes and their impact on financial results.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, with a minimum of five years of comprehensive accounting experience.
- Experience with ERP and Financial Reporting software is required; proficiency in Microsoft D365 is advantageous.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel.
