Summer 2025 Design Assurance Engineering Internship

Stryker Employment Company, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Design Assurance Engineering Intern to join our team. As a Design Assurance Engineering Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our medical devices.
Key Responsibilities- Apply your knowledge of design controls, risk management, and quality management systems to ensure the development of safe and effective medical devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards associated with our products.
- Develop and implement effective testing and validation strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our medical devices.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address any quality or safety issues.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Currently working on completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, such as engineering or a related field.
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and proven leadership and business acumen skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- A competitive hourly wage of $19-$33.
- Paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location.
