KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General

  • Collaborate with and assist the General Manager; take on GM duties during their absence.
  • Mentor and cultivate a diverse team through effective communication.
  • Oversee all operational aspects, including routine financial reporting.
  • Maintain and enforce Altitude standards and expectations.
  • Supervise Altitude's established processes regarding inventory and reporting duties.
  • Manage labor and expenditures for the entire facility, adhering to park guidelines.
  • Monitor all financial activities to ensure compliance with park policies.
  • Foster team development by setting profitability targets and recognizing positive contributions.

People

  • Attract and recruit talented individuals.
  • Establish and uphold accountability expectations within the team, ensuring brand standards are met.
  • Guarantee the implementation of training programs to equip the team for successful job performance and positive guest interactions.
  • Create a workplace environment that enhances staff retention.
  • Ensure staffing levels align with business demands while considering team member welfare.
  • Inspire and lead through effective motivation, recognition, and accountability.
  • Identify and nurture high-potential team members for greater responsibilities and internal promotions.

Sales

  • Implement sales and marketing strategies in partnership with the support center team.
  • Manage the budget and business strategy to achieve or surpass financial targets, making necessary adjustments to adapt to evolving circumstances.
  • Develop, communicate, monitor, and hold departments accountable for specific objectives.

Guest Services

  • Deliver an on-brand Altitude guest experience through exceptional operations.
  • Actively seek guest feedback and utilize it for the development of management and hourly team members.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for all park visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Capable of recruiting, motivating, developing, retaining, and promoting top talent through thoughtful leadership and genuine concern for team member growth.
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent distractions.
  • Regularly lift and carry over 50 pounds.
  • Achieve budgeted financial outcomes in areas of responsibility.
  • Serve as a mentor and lead by strong example.
  • Uphold a professional image.
