About Nebraska Public Radio
">Nebraska Public Radio is a leading source of news, classical music, and arts content for the state of Nebraska. We seek a seasoned professional to assume day-to-day supervision of all broadcast and digital activities as our new Radio Network Director. This role reports to the Chief Content Officer and oversees programming, operations, content creation, and on-air fundraising for our station.
">Responsibilities
">- Develop and implement strategies to create engaging content for digital and broadcast audiences.
- BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS TO DRIVE NEW CONTENT INITIATIVES.
- Lead short- and long-term planning efforts for technical and content production priorities.
- Prepare and manage the Radio Network's budget, ensuring financial oversight and sustainability.
- Create programming schedules that leverage national and local content to maximize audience retention.
Requirements
">This position requires a dynamic and seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of public radio at local, state, and national levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in broadcast or digital audio production, leadership experience in a non-commercial radio station, and expertise in digital content production. A bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, communications, or a related field is preferred.
