About the Job: Nursing Services Consultant

We are looking for an experienced registered nurse to fill the role of Nursing Services Consultant. As a key member of our Public Health Division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of care provided in long-term care facilities across Nebraska.

This position requires a strong background in nursing administration, teaching, or surveying healthcare facilities, with excellent assessment skills, good documentation skills, and effective communication abilities. You will perform state and federal surveys of long-term care facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and working closely with facility staff to identify areas for improvement.

The estimated salary range for this position is $32.306 - $43.112 per hour, depending on years of experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, retirement, and professional development opportunities to support your career growth.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or be authorized under the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a registered nurse in Nebraska. Recent long-term care/LTC experience is preferred, as well as wound nurse experience, competency testing experience, or other relevant qualifications.
