Responsibilities
As a Public Affairs Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and disseminating effective communications to various audiences, including the media, community leaders, and internal stakeholders. Your duties will include researching and writing articles, preparing press releases, and developing social media content. You will also work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic communications plans that support the mission and goals of the organization.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to think critically and strategically. You should have a strong understanding of public relations principles and practices, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field is preferred.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
