This position represents a senior professional level for a Site Reliability Engineer. Individuals may oversee one or more intricate reliability and toil reduction initiatives.

At this level, SREs function as subject matter experts in their field and will mentor others, including product and development teams, to define and enhance reliability within a product segment.

Senior SRE III necessitates a profound comprehension of system and application code, enabling data-driven recommendations that balance customer, development, and operational demands.


Key Responsibilities:
• Proposing service level objectives in collaboration with Product and Development teams.
• Serving as an escalation point during incidents.
• Partnering with development teams to diagnose system and application performance challenges.
• Enhancing the SRE framework.
• Providing guidance on SRE training materials and curriculum.
• Delivering resilient application stacks through "Infrastructure as Code" and other DevOps methodologies.
• Monitoring and supporting critical, high-revenue business applications.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex system and application challenges.
• Collaborating with diverse technical and non-technical teams, including Development, QA, IT Operations, Customer Operations, and Project Management.
• Facilitating the migration of existing applications to Cloud environments.

Qualifications:
• Professional experience working within public cloud environments – AWS, Azure.
• Proven experience migrating applications from on-premises to public cloud.
• Familiarity with containerized workloads such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with system and application monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
• Proficient in orchestration tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Continuous Integration/Delivery tools like GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins.
• Demonstrated coding and scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or equivalents.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar.
• Understanding of Log Management tools such as Elastic Stack, Graylog, or Splunk.
