Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician III to join our team at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of communication equipment for the US Navy Submarine Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a team of experts to repair and maintain communication equipment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members
  • Ensure high-quality work products and adherence to quality standards
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of related experience in equipment maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Comfortable using hand tools, test equipment, and other repair/troubleshooting equipment
