Job Title: RF Engineer - III

Ampcus is seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer - III to join our team. As an RF Engineer - III, you will be responsible for designing and implementing RF systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review site close out packages and site sweep/PIM results for accuracy, updating databases with necessary information.
  • Create site design RFDS and complete plumbing diagrams.
  • Generate RF propagation plots for review when required.
  • Utilize propagation tools and other RF related software for site candidate comparison, propagation and coverage review and selection, zoning and regulatory.
  • Prepare necessary zoning/regulatory filings for sites ensuring that compliance is met.
  • Attend zoning meetings for assigned area as required.
  • Ensure 100% regulatory requirements are met in every phase of design project.
  • Conduct RFE analysis, generate required reports and documents, and ensure 100% compliance to RFE mitigation standards within the allotted time frame.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Engineering
  • Functional knowledge of 4G/5G Wireless Systems
  • Excellent communication skills- written and verbal
  • Can-do attitude Flexibility Superior organizational and project planning skills
Preferred Skills:
  • ATOLL, Roofview and/or RoofMaster, Google Earth /.kml import, FCC ASR and ULS databases, FUZE
  • Microsoft Office suite of products (advanced experience level), Tableau, MapInfo thematic map creation, PIM mitigation techniques, Return Loss and Cable Loss calculations, Sweep measurement expertise, Database management
