Chameleon Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled R&D Fabrication and Assembly Specialist to support our innovative projects. This role is focused on high-precision assembly and part fabrication, requiring a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background.

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our R&D team, where you will be instrumental in executing precise assembly tasks while adhering to rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical know-how, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative spirit to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

This position necessitates on-site work, ensuring close collaboration with engineering and production teams to tackle complex assembly challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-precision assembly tasks, ensuring compliance with strict quality and specification requirements.
  • Fabricate necessary parts and components for assembly projects, utilizing skills in welding, machining, and various fabrication techniques.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve intricate assembly issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and effectively communicate project status and requirements with team members.
  • Participate in the continuous enhancement of assembly and fabrication processes.
  • Contribute to the development and scaling of pioneering clean energy technologies.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in precision assembly and fabrication.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Fusion360, along with a high level of competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of thriving in dynamic work environments.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical certifications or welding experience.
  • Experience in R&D or clean energy sectors.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to new and diverse projects.

The hourly compensation for this role ranges from $25 to $35.
