Redefining the concept of 'live, work, play,' we pride ourselves on being a 'play, work, stay' destination, dedicated to providing an unforgettable experience, enhanced by our hotel's elevated pool deck, Lobby Bar, and on-site restaurant.
Job Overview:The Culinary Operations Supervisor will play a vital role in the management of the culinary team within the designated outlet. Collaborating closely with Food & Beverage management, this individual will be responsible for scheduling, order execution, and ensuring a high-quality experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the quality and consistency of all food offerings.
- Develop and modify work schedules based on workload and occupancy levels.
- Order and receive culinary ingredients and supplies.
- Conduct regular departmental briefings.
- Ensure cleanliness in all food preparation and production areas.
- Perform monthly inventory checks of all products.
- Prepare work areas at least 15 minutes prior to service.
- Ensure timely availability of all food supplies required for service.
- Assist in managing food costs effectively.
- Support in the production and presentation of dishes.
- Prepare and properly store food items for future use.
- Report maintenance or security issues to the appropriate department promptly.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods (minimum of 8 hours per shift).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including AM/PM, weekends, and holidays.
- Capability to stand for long durations (minimum of 8 hours per shift).
- Proficiency in ensuring efficient operation of food production outlets.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English with vendors, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to read and understand detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Common sense understanding to execute detailed written and/or oral instructions.
- Competence in creating daily prep lists and inventory sheets.
- Ability to meet Omni Hotels & Resorts' quality and performance standards.
- Experience in updating and maintaining inventory records.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Servsafe Certification is required.
