Job Title: Teller I

Job Summary:

The Teller I is a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with a high level of accuracy.
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns using standard procedures and escalating to management as necessary.
  • Engage with customers to understand their banking needs and preferences, and provide education on self-service and digital options.
  • Act as an advocate for customers by conducting needs-based conversations and offering financial and digital solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of work-related experience preferred, or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.
  • Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.
