We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Hire Military Talent. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of commercial buses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair problems with transport diesel engines with minimal supervision
  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate computer software to track maintenance compliance and specifications
  • Read and interpret maintenance and repair manuals
  • Complete necessary paperwork for dealer and corporate requirements
  • Maintain required tools to perform duties
  • Effectively communicate with team members and customers
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-year diesel mechanic experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Self-Starter/Self-Motivated
  • Able to quickly integrate with teams
  • INTEGRITY is a MUST
  • Must be able to pass DOT Physical, Drug Testing, and Background Checks
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 - 4 years diesel mechanic experience
  • Experience with the repair of commercial buses
  • Military background with NCO or SNCO ranks achieved
