Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Staff Financial Group. As a Diesel Mechanic/Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and detailing of commercial buses to meet business travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose problems with transport diesel engines and perform repairs with minimum supervision
Perform preventative maintenance procedures in an efficient and timely manner
Ability to operate computer software proficiently to track maintenance compliance and specifications
Ability to read and interpret maintenance and repair manuals
Complete necessary paperwork for dealer and corporate requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 1-year diesel mechanic experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
High school diploma
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to effectively communicate
Ability to work independently and safely
Preferred:
3 - 4 years diesel mechanic experience
Experience with the repair of commercial buses is a plus
Military background with NCO or SNCO ranks achieved
