About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team at Crane Aerospace & Electronics. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electronic components and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test electronic components and systems
  • Prepare components for assembly, including cleaning, marking, and inspecting
  • Operate assigned equipment and machinery, including cranes and hoists
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production
  • Participate in training and mentoring new employees
  • Contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives
Requirements
  • 1-5+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to interpret production prints and planning information
  • Ability to work well in a high-paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to coach and mentor new employees
  • Experience maintaining equipment on a stringent calibration schedule
  • IPC solder rework certification
  • Designated Inspection certification
