As a Video Surveillance Solutions Engineer, you will be an integral part of a dedicated project team focused on large-scale video deployment initiatives.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage the surveying, design, documentation, and implementation of Avigilon Video Surveillance Solutions, while effectively communicating the technological capabilities and requirements to both internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables align with the defined scope and timeline, providing support to the project team and its subcontractors throughout all project phases.
Proficiency in utilizing project management tools, resources, and software is essential. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism in challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, document, and present Avigilon Video Surveillance Solutions, ensuring clarity regarding technological capabilities and stakeholder requirements.
• Implement modifications following established testing protocols and change management procedures.
• Ensure that system solutions are compatible with network capacity and architecture, as well as customer specifications and project scope.
• Communicate technology effectively and showcase unique value propositions to both business and technical audiences.
• Conduct product testing and demonstrations as required, leading technical discussions to address customer needs.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing support to the project team and fostering strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and team members.
• Collaborate with technical support teams to deliver post-sales assistance to clients.
• Maintain proactive engagement throughout the project lifecycle, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Adhere to all standards, policies, and codes of conduct when handling confidential information or solution designs.
Qualifications:
• Comprehensive understanding of the video surveillance integration process and relevant standards.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of Motorola Video Products and Software (Avigilon, Pelco, AVA).
• Ability to manage and operate multiple computers (both customer and employer-provided).
