Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate School-Based Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at Woodfords Family Services. As a key member of our team, you will work one-on-one with children and adolescents in a public school setting to help them achieve their learning and development goals.

Responsibilities
  • Assess individual needs and develop related goals for learners' behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, and self-care.
  • Use evidence-based practices to foster a therapeutic, enriched, and meaningful learning environment for students to learn and thrive with independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting students' needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, as needed.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to support students with challenging behaviors.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • BHP certification (course can be completed as part of employment and paid for by Woodfords)
  • Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle
