Job Summary:
As a Nurse Specialist in our Special Procedures department, you will be responsible for observing, evaluating, and coordinating the care given to patients. You will participate in direct and indirect care of all related activities according to the policies, procedures, philosophy, and mission of Adventist Health.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
Responsibilities:
- Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
- Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes
- Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment
- Monitors patient, analyzes electrocardiogram (EKG) and hemodynamic parameters, and reports to physician any changes in patient's condition
