We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at the TriCare Care Clinic in Suffolk, VA. As a key member of our medical support staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in an outpatient primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe and record vital signs, order laboratory procedures, and administer medications as needed.
- Utilize automated programs and information technology tools to facilitate patient care and screen patients for preventative services.
- Track HEDIS measures, laboratory/radiology results, and notify patients as required.
- Assist with clinic check-out and follow-up visits, ensuring scheduling of follow-up appointments or specialty care referrals.
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted LPN/LVN license.
- Graduate from a LPN/LVN program.
- At least 1 year of full-time experience as a LPN/LVN within the last 2 years in an outpatient primary care or ambulatory care setting.
- Basic Life Support certification from an American Heart Association program.
